Jim Hill recently joined the Ivory Boyer Real Estate Center at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business as acting director. He is also a partner with East West Partners active in real estate development acquisitions and based in Park City, Utah.
Hill has enjoyed a 30-year career in real estate development. He was Managing Partner-Utah for East West Partners from 2003 to 2011, developing and selling 150 ski homes at Deer Valley Resort. He led East West’s team in Denver on the early development of Riverfront Park, a downtown neighborhood of 10 city blocks. Hill was with the Walt Disney Company for nine years, focusing on real estate and resort projects in Europe, Latin America and North America. Based in Paris, France, he opened the first hotel at Euro Disney as project manager of the 1,000-room Hotel Cheyenne. He started his career in 1984 in Washington, D.C., in development and leasing of office and commercial properties. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Hill holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University. He lives in Park City with his wife Cathy. They have three adult children who live in Istanbul, Siberia and Paris. Hill enjoys travel, having visited over 60 countries, and is fluent in French.

She is the Founder of Nested Strategies, a boutique brand storytelling and content marketing company that helps small businesses, start-ups and non-profits best tell their story and use their authentic voice across multiple social channels. She has over 15 years of event, marketing, media and community engagement experience in the private and non-profit sectors.
In LA, Amy enjoyed time in the music and film industries as a producer, production manager and publicist of music videos and independent film festivals, where her clients included HBO, Vh1, Palomar Pictures and Sundance Film Festival. In Washington, DC, she helped launch and lead the American Film Institute (AFI) and Discovery Channel’s documentary film festival and conference, Silverdocs (now AFI Docs).
Amy's career began with two major advertising firms in New York – Grey Advertising and McCann-Erickson. She is a convener and a design thinker who thrives on maximizing relationships, building memorable, engaging social campaigns and bringing out the best in communities and organizations. She is a passionate volunteer for Angie’s Friends, a local animal rescue group and a sustainable design junkie.
